現地に到着した！早速遊びに行くためにも早速両替を！
タイで遊ぶには現金が絶対に必要です。
タクシー、電車、屋台など、どこに行っても現金現金です！
クレジットカードで決済するのはホテルなど設備が整ったところがメインですが、
タイ現地のローカルな遊びをするのであれば絶対に現金が必要です。
現金を手に入れるためにも両替！
と言っても両替の相場は場所によって大きく異なります。
どこで両替するかで10%ほども変わってしまいます。
10,000円分を両替えするのに1,000円も余計に手数料を取られたらやってられないですよね。
そんな両替の失敗がないようにどこでどうやって両替すれば良いのかを解説したいと思います。
目次
まずは為替の状況を理解することが大切です。
こちらは日本円→バーツの為替レートとなっています。
見方としては、0.3の場合、10,000円×0.3=3,000バーツという仕組みです。
つまりはこのレートの数字が高くなればなるほど、
同じ10,000円を両替えしてもたくさんのバーツが手に入り、現地でたくさん遊べることになります。
ここ数年は0.27〜0.3程度を推移しています。
10年前はもっとレートが良かったのですが、タイの発展とともに段々と厳しいレートに、、、
今後もタイは発展していき、レートは悪くなっていくでしょう。
タイに行くなら早めに行くのがオススメ！
海外旅行に行った時に見かける両替所ですが、
両替えビジネスがどうなっているかというと、
実際の為替チャートよりも悪いレートで交換することで手数料を取るビジネスです。
ですので、この交換レートの良し悪しは両替所がそれぞれ設定しており、
両替所の方針によって、交換レートが上下することになります。
ですので、世界的な為替レートは共通しているにもかかわらず、
両替所によってレートがコロコロ変わります。
両替えをする時にはパスポートを要求されます。
パスポートのコピーでも構いません。
必ず持っていきましょう。
また両替えした後の楽しみに焦ってはいけません。
きちんとお金とパスポートを返してもらったことを確認してから両替所を去りましょう。
筆者の友人はパタヤの両替所にパスポートを忘れてしまい、
バンコクパタヤを往復してパスポートを回収していました。
くれぐれも海外旅行でのパスポートの取り扱いは慎重に！
両替所のレートで一般的にオススメできないのは、空港での両替えです。
空港の両替所は一般的に非常に悪いレートで設定されており、
街中での交換レートに対して10%程度悪いことがあります。
例えば10,000円両替えして街中だと2,900バーツ手に入れられるところを
空港では2,700バーツしか受け取れないということがザラにあります。
空港に着いたら、必要最低限な現金だけを両替するのがオススメです。
または、空港直結の空港外の両替所では真っ当なレートで取引をしている場所があるので、
そちらで両替えするのがオススメです。
スワンナプーム国際空港では、優良両替ゾーンがあり、
年中無休で5:30〜23:00まで営業している両替ゾーンがあります。
①.到着出口（2F）を出たら地下一階を目指す
②.地下一階に着いたらAirportRailLink（ARL）スワンナプーム駅を目指す
③.駅改札には行かずに、改札反対側のEXCANGE ZONE（両替ゾーン）に行く
ここなら空港外の位置づけになり、優良レートでの両替えができます。
また、ここの両替え所は街中の両替所よりもレートがよかったりもするくらい良いので、
安心して両替えをして問題ありません。
仮に街中よりも多少悪かったとしても、大した額ではありません。
数字の見方としては、
日本円のBUYINGの項目に0.29~0.3程度の数字が表示されています。
10,000円×0.29~0.3=2,900〜3,000バーツを手に入れることができます。
こちらの0.29〜0.3の数字は大きければ大きいほどお得ということになります。

バンコク、パタヤで両替えする際にも店舗によって両替レートは異なります。
一般的に夜遊びスポット近くの両替所はレートが良いことが多いです。
おそらく夜遊びスポットと何らかの連携ができているのでしょう。
大きなお金の両替えをするのは夜遊び関連が多いでしょうから、
アクセスしやすい両替所を紹介します。
バンコク、パタヤ中で一番レートが良いというわけではないですが、
一番良いレートともそれほど大差無い程に良いです。
レートがとても良く、大きな両替所です。
タイの中のレートとしてもランキング上位に入るかなり良い両替所です。
また、立地としても、BTSナナ駅前にあり、
ナナプラザとテイメイカフェの間あたり、ととても立地が良いです。
日曜日は定休日で、平日、土曜日に空いています。
平日は9:00-18:00
土曜日は9:00-17:00
なので、計画を立てて両替にいきましょう。
他にも筆者が良く使う両替所を紹介します。
筆者は両替所の前を通るたびに両替所のレートを確認しています。
いつ見てもレートが良い両替所を紹介します。
VASUと並ぶ高レートの両替所。
場所はプロンポン駅近くにあります。
こちらは土日も営業していて、
営業時間は11:00-20:00です。
道路を隔てた小道にはプロンポンでオススメのエロマッサージ店舗があります。
余談ですが、ジャグジー、シャワーもあるので、ここで一汗流していくのもありです。
3,000バーツあればお釣りが来ます。女の子のクオリティも高く、オススメです。
この両替所は日本人がたくさんお世話になっていることでしょう。
ここも高レートで両替ができます。
パタヤのマッサージパーラー群が立ち並ぶ一角に位置します。
ここでもここで両替えをしてマッサージパーラーで汗を流すというのが鉄板の行動となります。
他にもおすすめの両替所は多数あります。
